Book Review: An absolute MUST for any beginning Russian student

This should be your first stop when looking to buy books for your beginning study of Russian language. I used this and am very thankful that I found it because it painlessly got me started with reading. It taught me the cyrillic alphabet and introduced me to the cursive writing. Every page is actually FUN. There are puzzles, crosswords and other things to help you quiz yourself. You learn without hating it:) The only thing I hated about this book is that it ended too soon.It helped me accomplish what I wanted, but I rather wished the author could be my teacher and I could just go ahead and learn the whole language from her, because she made the alphabet so much fun.
This book was inexpensive and worth much more than I paid. DO GET THIS if you need to learn the cyrillic. You will be glad.
P.S. See my other review about the set of children's writing books I used for learning to write in cursive. That was the thing I did right after I finished this book, and it turned out very well for me, too.
