Book Reviews of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive HealthBook Review: Highly recommend this book! Summary: 5 StarsWhen I decided at the ripe old age of 34 that it was time to get pregnant I didn't want to leave anything to chance, so I read (and reread) this book. After implementing Toni's advice, I was pregnant the next month. I've since recommended it to 3 friends who were having trouble conceiving. One now has an 8 month old son, and 2 are pregnant. Even if I wasn't TTC, it was a fascinating book that shed so much light on my body. As a former medical student, I thought I knew a lot about the female reproductive system, but this book is so interesting and user-freindly that I learned more than I thought I would. A definite must-have for all women of childbearing age.
Book Review: Great book every woman should read Summary: 5 StarsWhether you are planning to start a family or not, I think every woman should read this book. It tells you all the things you should know about your body that maybe your mom should have told you. I had no idea about ovulation or change in temperature, etc. It will help you understand your body and the changes that you go through every month.
Book Review: Great book! Summary: 5 StarsThis book was recommended to me by a friend after I had breast cancer recently and had to go off of my birth control pills (due to the estrogen). It has been very helpful! I love the details and samples provided along with the monthly forms to print off.
Book Review: A must read for women Summary: 5 StarsI ordered this book on a recommendation from a friend who used its guidance to get pregnant after trying for a year. I have been blown away by what I didn't know! While I'm not pregnant myself yet, I'm impressed by the information and how easy it is to read. I read from cover to cover in a week. I'm amazed at how much I didn't know about my own body. I recommend this book to all women, those who are trying to concieve and those who aren't. We should all be so in tune and understanding of our bodies!
Book Review: Conceiving Made Easy Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book after trying unsuccessfully for three months to get pregnant. My doctor informed me that it might take a while to get pregnant and there was no need to worry until I had tried unsuccessfully for one year. I was so anxious to get pregnant that I thought I would see if I could educate myself on the subject, and then I came across so many wonderful reviews for this book and decided to buy it. That was the best decision I ever made. I read the book in three days and began charting my cycle at my next period. From that first month, I was able to pinpoint my most fertile day the following month and went for it. Lo and behold, two weeks later, my home pregnancy test came back positive. I 100% recommend this book to all those who are trying to get pregnant.
