The day after the moving van leaves their home, Rudy is sick as a dog with the flu. The family is cleaning the house before the long drive to Atlanta, when a realtor shows up with a potential buyer. Rudy hides in the closet, hoping no one will see her. When the closet door opens revealing a disheveled sick woman in pajamas lumped on the floor, the realtor and client leave in a hurry.

These real life stories come together in force to tell of the author's journey through heart surgery and more. It should have left me sad and upset. It left me encouraged and determined with a positive attitude adjustment. The book is hilarious, with real and powerful moments.

It's a splendid book to read and a perfect book to give.
