Book Review: An afternoon with the Lean Mastermind
Summary: 5 Stars

Sit down, serve yourself some green tea, and listen. Listen to the father of the Toyota Production System talk about the concepts behind the concepts. The "root causes" (root goals, here) of Kaizen, inventory, autonomation, bosses and workers, Kaizen, cost reduction, standards, more Kaizen, robots, and more cost reduction. Learn. Double learn. Triple learn! This short book is a fascinating read. A MUST READ for anybody interested in Lean principles and the history of Toyota.
My preferred part: when Ta?chi Ohno talks about the difference between Motion and Work.
Word of caution: you should already be familiar with TPS concepts in order to fully grasp the teachings of the Lean Mastermind.
