Book Reviews of Swing!: A Scanimation Picture BookBook Review: Scanimation for All Summary: 5 Stars
Last Christmas I bought a Scanimation book for my grand daughter who shows some symptoms of autism. It was Gallop Gallop!: A Scanimation Picture Book She was fascinated by it and didn't want to put it down. This year I'm getting her Swing Swing!, A Scanimation Picture Book - 2008 publication and I'm pretty sure she'll love it too
Book Review: Great gift! COOL CONCEPT! Summary: 5 Stars
I just saw this book at a baby shower, picked it up and played with it for about 10-15 minutes. What a great idea for a book! Adults all passed it around and everyone who held it had a positive comment about it. COOL AWESOME WEIRD NEAT were some of the words to describe their reactions to this book. I am going to get this one along with GALLOP as a gift for babies and toddlers birthdays that will come up soon.
Book Review: Swing...bats 100! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for my 4 year old son after he saw it at walmart. He absolutely loves this book. He calls it his "tv" book! I also bought Gallop and can't wait to buy the new one, Waddle.
The pictures in this book look like they are animated and to some degree I guess they are.
This book would probably good for a child from 4 to 10 unless it is someone interested in animation and how it works.
Book Review: Another winner from Rufus Butler! Summary: 5 Stars
Fans of Rufus Butler's previous book "Gallop" will love this new offering. This book has kids in various motions - riding a bike, moving on ice etc. Although the suggested age group says 4-8, I'd say even babies-toddlers will appreciate this and be enthralled by the moving images. Though the idea behind this is by no means novel, it still has a magical feel to it and even adults will be fascinated!
Book Review: Really neat book! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for Christmas presents for my 16 month old grandson and my 17 month old great nephew. I loved the book as did both of the kids! My great nephew already had the first book in this series (Gallop). All in all, this was a wonderful purchase for the boys! It is really neat how the pages seem to magically move in front of your eyes!
