This book will make you go crazy! Megan, a spoiled rich 15 year old girl, saw the water rising in Pennsylvania while spring in a valley by rivers meeting. Also Megan doesn't like and resents hearing her aunt tells her what to do in the year of 1889. On May 31 Megon saw the water rise to the third step, and her father said," The dam broke"
Megan saw the water rise up to her father's armpits and saw the terrible wave! Megan's on a mat and she saw these people. They didn't bother to yell, and they were packing their trunk with food. Megan saw a man and got on her mat, and they tried to get on a raft. They seen a wagon, and they tried to get on it. They got on it and tried to get to Green Hill. Megan and Brian are on the wagon, and they are running through the river. They got new comers on the wagon, and they tried to get on land. Two people are on land. Megan and Shaw and Brian found help. They brought a door for Loti. They also found a boy almost half naked. Then they got shelter, got some sleep, hot food, and hot bread to eat. Megan was talking. Tom and Brian went to find Megan's family then they went to sleep. Brian found a lot of people; they even seen fire. Megan asked Brian what his story was. Brian's family was swept away. Megan said, "I am going with you to find your family." Megan saw the little boy drink a whole mug of coffee. They also got hot breakfast. Megan and Brian are going to find Megan's family. Then they were on the raft, and Megan found her dog Senator. On the way back they found dead people. "Then Brian found his family, but they died in the flood. Megan felt sorry, and she was thinking about her father. Then what happened? Find out what happened and read The Terrible Wave. My class and I think you should read this heart warming story.
