Book Reviews of Summer On Blossom StreetBook Review: GREAT SUMMER READ Summary: 4 Stars
Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber is a great summer read, light and fanciful. Each character that joined Lydia Goetz at her shop, A Good Yarn, for her class, Knit to Quit, had problems that were real and compelling and they learned from Lydia that "while our hands are at work on a project, we're able to quiet our thoughts." Good advice for anyone. There are lots of surprises that bring both laughter and tears, which were in abundance as each story ended. If you enjoy happy endings, this book is for you. It was the first time I've read her and I'm now a big fan.
Book Review: More fun on Blossom Street Summary: 4 Stars
I always enjoy going back to Blossom Street. Debbie Macomber's books are great when you want to spend an evening in a neat place with old friends. This series is fun with just enough intrigue to keep it interesting. Even if you haven't read the books before you can enjoy it, but I highly recommend you start at the beginning of the series so you can understand the characters.
Book Review: Great story Summary: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this delightful read. It was refreshing reading an old fashion romance where there wasn't a lot of sex, etc. It was really nice to read about the people on Blossom Street. I have become a huge fan of this series. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.
Book Review: Well tied-up at the end Summary: 4 Stars
Sweet and easy to read...just what I like about this author's knitting-shop/Blossom St. books, which are the only ones of hers that I read. Macomber presents her characters well and juggles multiple story lines with ease. She ties up her stories happily, and once in a while, this is just what I need!
