Book Review: Caught between a rock and a cold place

Summer Knight is a great addition to the Dresden files. Caught between the power struggles of Summer and Winter is not the place you want to be. Harry seems to have the knack at being in the wrong place at the wrong time. How he walks the fine line of being an unwilling champion of Winter and keeping on good terms with Summer at the same line is pure luck. Someone must be seriously after him to get him into these fixes or he has a guardian angel really looking out for him. Which is it? Well worth readying. I was nerver really much into this type of book, till my good friend read one and recommended them. She liked them so much I read one and enjoyed the story line so well, I got the idea to buy her the set so I could borrow them to read! The set came in perfect conditon, quick deliver and on time for my friends birthday. Will check you out for future purchases!

Book Review: Fun!

Another romp with Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden. Just when you think he can't wreak more havoc, well this time it could mean the end of the world. Again.
I love Jim Butcher's writing style, the characters he populates the Chicago landscape with, and his delight in bad cliches and movie quotes. I just started the series about two weeks ago, and I have read through each and every book and they keep getting better. This is a must have for anyone who enjoys the paranormal genre.

This is my all time favorite Dresden Files book. The story is unique and fun. Sure it has a lot of the same old elements in it like the beetle and getting into too much trouble. It just has a different level of dimension to it as well. It was a fun easy read. It will continue to be my favorite Dresden File for many years to come.
This series is one I recommend repeatedly to friends who love Harry Potter. Think adult Harry Potter with a slightly less well knit community.

I am re-reading this whole series again. And everytime I read this series it gets better and better. I will not go into a big synopsis of this book let's just say these key words White Court,Red Court. Toot-Toot makes a great renewed appearance in this story and we finally get to meet his first love Elaine and how his young life revolved around her. Start with first book in the series you will understand better about the situation. But, read this series it's great.
