Book Reviews of Sum: Forty Tales from the AfterlivesBook Review: Liberating Imagination Summary: 4 Stars
This book is like a long riff on the Billy Collins poem, The Afterlife. The many possible imagined afterlives, in small vignettes, open the imagination and are full of amusement and sadness. All, of course, offer insights into life. The realm after death is like a blank canvass. Why not play with it, this scientist seems to say. Paint some pictures.
Book Review: Interesting Perspectives on Life After Death Summary: 4 Stars
Mr Eagleman presents a wide variety of post-life possibilities. Few if any are in harmony with the afterlife promised by all established religions. Some are more fun than others. Pick the one you like and keep your fingers crossed!
