Book Review: Disappointed

I loved the designs. The execution was difficult and the results were bad. Here's what I did if it helps:
I put the transfers on two kids white cotton t-shirts. I learned from a test that the transfers did bleed through, so put an old pillowcase in the shirt. This solved that problem.
My kids cut out a ton of the smaller transfers, including letters, and this was really difficult. You can only iron on one at a time, and each one takes a few minutes & pushing down. So the ironing part literally took two hours, and when the iron goes over an already-transferred design, that one fades and bleeds. So the initial results weren't perfect, but the kids were pretty happy with their cool t-shirts.
But kids are kids, and the t-shirts got all kinds of food on them. The worst part came when I put them through the wash with some Oxi-Clean. The designs completely came off. What a disappointment after all the work and anticipation!! I haven't told them yet, but I'm not looking forward to it.
With kids, delicate washing in cold water doesn't cut it, so I would not recommend this product for anything that may get stains on it. Maybe some of the other recommended uses (canvas bags, clothing for extremely neat people) might be more appropriate.
