In a genre loaded with shirtless hunks on covers and mindless sex inside, author Shannon Yarbrough breaks through with a simple and sweet offering in his book Stealing Wishes. He gives readers a glimpse into the lives of an edgy and interesting group of characters as they navigate the pitfalls of everyday life. This self-published work is in need of some editing, and a few of the plot points are a bit of a stretch. But overall, it's an enjoyable effort from an author with promise.
