Book Review: Excellent for any stage of sobriety

This book is a helpful and useful tool for all that are affected by someone's addiction (both the addict and family members). It logically describes the different stages of sobriety, with factual information and descriptions of symptoms and behaviors of each stage.

I highly recommend this book because it brings to light the reality that relapse occurs before we take the first drink. Recognizing these signs, and following the suggestions offered, can prove life saving. Please buy this book. It got me through some difficult times, helped me understand where I am at in my sobriety and why, and gave me tools of awareness about myself to hopefully prevent disaster.

It also provides insightful for family members of the addicts. It can give them a better understanding of the disease, and provides a relapse prevention section at the end of the book for the addict and their family.
