Book Review: Awesome book - does not disappoint

My son, who is 5, received this for Christmas. It is an amazing book with lots of features. He has been looking at it for hours. The only concern I have is that he is too young at age 5 to properly handle the book. I am worried that he will crush some of the pop-up features when he opens and closes the book. In general, though, the book is a great gift, full of pop-ups and information, with unexpected features. My son loves it and I would give it to any Star Wars fan (though fans above age 6 would probably appreciate it most).Book Review: One of a kind collectors item here...

This book will be an imaginative addition to any Star Wars collection. Someone took a great deal of time with this. I would NOT recommend this book for young children. Better yet, buy it for yourself and give it to them when they are older. Well, maybe ;) Some of the pop-up art is fragile and WILL tear if handled roughly. Be CAREFUL! I have no idea how many of these they printed but a copy in mint condition will only appreciate in value. Very well worth the $20 paid for this item on Amazon. What a beautiful and entertaining book. As a Sabuda fan, I never fail to be amazed and enthralled by the artistry of this art form.Reinhart is a master in the same vein. This was a gift for my 35 year old husband, who loves all the info on the characters (especially some "rarer" ones) as well as the unique and different format than many books on the subject. And the suprise on the last page of the light up lightsabers made my 6 year old gasp "that is SO COOL!!!"
A great gift for the fan that has it all.
Book Review: Grandkids LOVE it!

My 7- and 4-yr-old grandsons grab this great Star Wars book as soon as they arrive, right after Grandma hugs. It's not just an ordinary pop-up book - each page has multiple smaller pop-ups in addition to the the big one in the center. They each tuck into a small corner for safekeeping. The grown-ups are equally enthralled with the engineering of these wonderfully imaginative creations - how they expand, then fold up so neatly. You even get a peek at Darth Vader's evil face before the visor clamps shut! COOL!Book Review: Pop Up Star Wars

After seeing the authors of these wonderful pop-up books on Martha Stewart, I sent this to my son (and another different one to my daughter-in-law.) The authors said that only a half million of these books had been made. I don't know if that's strickly true but I sent it to my son because he collects Star Wars collectibles. He is very picky but he told me he loved every page. Yes I know, I am his mother. I have only paged through it at a local store, the price here was so much better. I love gifting books.
