Book Review: A Very Impressive Addition to the Trek Universe

This book is a technical manual for a very good reason. It's loaded with technobabble, technical phrases, and other technical terms. This book, which is better than the TNG technical manual, is loaded with colors, images, and detail. You can view schematics of Deep Space Nine, the Defiant, the Runabouts, and several other starships that have made appearances on the show. (However, there are no pages devoted to the Sovereign, Intrepid, or Prometheus - Class vessels.) You can even access schematics and info on the Defiant's shuttlecraft (Seen in "Destiny" and "The Sound of Her Voice"), along with an impressive picture of the Defiant's shuttlebay. Anything and Everything you ever wanted to know concerning the design, construction, and use of DS9, Defiant, and the Runabouts can be found here. The book also comes with some nice pullouts of the station and the Defiant. There are also a few good pages regarding Bajor and Cardassia. Ona final note, I really enjoyed the logo's for the Defiant - Class and Danube - Class Projects. They were hilarious. All in all, this book is a must get for any DS9 or Trek fan.
