Book Reviews of Sports Illustrated: Brett Favre: The TributeBook Review: Don't Let The Cover Photo Fool You Summary: 5 Stars
This is an excellent review of Brett Favre - a very intimate look at the best quarterback in the NFL today. The photo they used for the cover of the book is terrible. It may scare some people off from buying this book on Brett Favre. I was very pleased with the contents although the cover photo could have been much better. I think SI wanted to sell more single magazines at $7.99 each than this 242 page SI book that can be had for a little bit more money.
Book Review: BRETT FAVRE TRIBUTE Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this book for my son-in-law as he is a Green Bay fan. He loved it! Lots of colorful pictures, history and stats. The delivery was prompt and the whole ordering process was smooth.Sports Illustrated: Brett Favre: The Tribute (Sports Illustrated)
Book Review: Excellent Tribute. Summary: 5 Stars
I spotted the softcover version in the supermarket and took it home and thought it was very well put together. There are some great action photos and the writing is very good. It covers some of the more notible games that Brett played with great detail. A worthwhile buy of a book chronicling the career of one of NFL's most exciting players.
Book Review: A Great Synopsis of a Great Career Summary: 5 Stars
Brett Favre is one of the best players the NFL has ever seen and this book pulls together all of Sports Illustrated's best photos and stories hightlighting important moments throughout his career (prior to the NY Jets). This book is a must for any Favre fan.
Book Review: How can you go wrong? Summary: 5 Stars
Gift for my brother-in-law, who is a former high school and college football player and now a high school football coach. He simply loves this book, like we all love Brett Favre. How can you go wrong? An SI book about an American Hero - it's a no brainer.
