After thinking "Brothers Rodriquez" was the best book I had on this era of racing, I got this. Amazing picture clarity....from angles close to the car (dangerously allowed back then). What is most mind boggling is the knowledge contained in most captions....often the car serial number. Driver's name and Team name with tidbits of why the car broke down, how long did the driver live past this event (often losing their life racing somewhere else), and other bits of trivia that fill in gaps in your knowledge. After getting this, I pre-ordered the up coming book featurning 1950-59. I rate this an A++/Must Buy.
