Book Review: Superior to many in this genre!

Something Borrowed is a great, quick read for those who like books similar to that of the Shopaholic series. Although I often found myself questioning Rachel's rationale of the situation, I didn't mind that I didn't always agree with her because the story line and characterization were so thorough. She was a bit of a victim which was a little irritating but I couldn't help but root for her in the end. The book gets a little redundant at times, but overall is a really fun read!Book Review: So Good!

This book was so engaging. It sucked me in and I stayed up all night reading it and was dying to know what happened so I bought Something Blue and stayed up reading that one, too. Giffin writes in a witty, charming way that is fresh and sophisticated but also paints vivid characters and pulls you so deep into the storyline you just can't put the book down. I recommended it to both my mom and my sister and they both loved it! You'll have lots of fun reading this one.Book Review: laid back, sometimes hysterical romance.

"Something Borrowed" by Emily Giffin is a laid back, sometimes hysterical romance. Rachel's 30th birthday is a turning point in her life, but not because of the added candle on her birthday cake. After too many cocktails at a party thrown for her by her best friend, Rachel ends up in bed with her BFF's fiance.
I definitely plan to read Ms Giffin's 'Something Blue', which is told from the BFF's point of view.
This is a great weekend read.

I love it when an author can make somebody do something that we find horrible and unforgivable and make you love them anyways. Which is exactly what she does in this book, Its seriously one of the best book I've ever read. It wasn't like every chick lit book out there, this was intelligent, original, and it took me on the emotional ride with the main character. I love it please read it, its not something you'll soon forget. Then read something Blue also amazing!Book Review: Couldn't put it down!!

I bought this book not knowing about the series, and was so entertained! I never thought that I would side with the girl having an affair with her best friend's fiance, but I did. I found myself unable to put the book away eagerly awaiting the outcome. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone! I hope that Emily Giffin keeps on writing, cause I will keep on reading her novels!
