Book Review: A 5th Grade Book, The Island (I, II, III)
Summary: 5 Stars
The Island is a book about 6 kids who are on a boat trip because they did something wrong and they got sent on the boat to help them get along. While they were on the boat they were treated very cruelly. After they were on for a week or two a big storm hit and threw the caotain over bored. The kids were scared because all they had was the co-captain. The next day they woke up and the co-captain was gone. So they tried to get the boat to start up again and it wouldn't work, then the ship blew up.Four of the kids found each other in the water but they couldn't find the other two. They also found a cabniet to sleep on but they all couldn't fit on so one person was in the water floating (they called it shark bait).
Well they were in the water for days when they saw land. They were so happy. When they finally reached the island one of their men was passed out by the heat.
They ate bannanna's from the tree's they found, when they heard a plane they ran toware it landed and then they heard a gun shot and saw a dead man in the water. They were scared but they just hid. When they were in the jungle they heard weeds cracking and it was their other ship members. They were so happy and they told them about what they saw.
Now it's your turn to read and see if they get killed or get rescued and if their other ship member thats passed out and in a coma recures.
I think this book is a really great book if you enjoy adventure you will enjoy these three island books.

Luke, J.J. Will, Lyssa, Charla, and Ian. They did'nt want to be on the boat in the first place. They didn't want to be stuck at sea with a bunch of strangers. But when you're in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, there's no easy way out. And when a terrifying storm hits, there's no way to fully prepare. It's all about survival.Being on a sailboat in the warm waters of the Pacific with a bunch of kids the same age could sound like a vacation dream come true.
