Book Review: Is there any way to give this a zero star?

As I was in Books-A-Million (at my local mall) trying to spend time between appointments, I glanced through the Bible Reference section (right next to the Christian Living Section). To my surprise, they had 4 copies of "Sex God" in the Bible Reference section. I had heard how bad this book was (and how some churches are using it in their Youth study Groups); but decided to glance through it myself, just to see how bad it really was and why many people are upset with this writing and being used in youth ministry groups. My thoughts as I glanced through it:
My God how explicit this book is. Also disturbing is the subject matter and the way it is presented (not to mention the titles of the chapters - talk about trash talk). Wow and they are teaching youth this garbage? Questioning marraige. Questioning abstinance. The way it is presented I had a hard time telling if he was for or against premarital sex. As a 40 year old I found myself confused on the matter. How can anyone gain any wisdom on family, marraige and the proper place of intimacy from this book. Scary part is I could see where reading this it tells you sex outside of marraige may be ok because marraige brings more trouble (and in the biblical times having sex meant your were married), co-habitation may be ok, Jesus was sexy even though he did not have sex. Also, Talk about twisting scripture. This book will totally warp minds.
Also scary is there are no definative answers to be found anywhere in this book. Everything in this book is a question. Where is the truth in that? The book is also loaded with bad writing. It would start down a subject line and end. end with a series of questions, end with no answers, or end without a point being made to the story being used? Just left open-ended and open minded. or worse it would start down a subject path and then go way out in left field.
I asked, 'What is this book doing in a Bible Reference section or in a Christian Living section. It should be down in "Religion/other" Actually my preference is not even in the book store at all.......
As an adult I found this very disturbing to read. As a minister, I found this shocking to be in the Bible Reference section, and shocked this was being used to teach teenagers.I could not even imagine this book being used in a youth bible study setting. I also found it shocking that it did not have one of those "Explicit Material" warning stickers on it and that just anyone could buy this. As an adult I would not buy this book. I am disgusted at how anyone of any age can just walk in and buy this book.
I truly suggest to stay away from this book at all costs.
