As a budding custom clothing designer, I needed every bit of help that I could get. Probably adding to my inexperience, I am a very tiny, 100 lb. woman who has never needed to work with plus sizes at all. I knew that I needed this book, and the information and instructions inside are great. I read through more than half the book in one evening and devoured the rest the following day. There is more definition and creative ideas in the pages of 'Sewing for Plus Sizes' than there are in standard pattern and sewing company guides, and I am very anxious to get started on my first plus-sized project - a suit for my husband's grandmother. Thanks to this book, I'm not as concerned about fitting her properly and matching her style. I feel like I have found a guide to answer every possible problem I could encounter.
