As an adult, I give a lot of books to grandchildren and nieces and nephews and I always want to review any new series before giving. I loved this Magyk and Septimus Heap. I will definitely give this book to my kiddos. There is not enough magic in our lives and I feel it is good for children to imagine. I loved fairy books as a child. What fun to escape to their wonderful world. I like this book enormously.
