Book Review: Fantastic Tie-In for Young Adults

When Lana Lang, Clark Kent's all-time love (even though she doesn't know it), asks him for help with the school play, he says yes in a heartbeat. Which is how he meets Dawn, a stuck-up, rich, phony, who has her heart set on attending Juilliard. Clark also meets Dawn's boyfriend, Mike, a fellow actor, who seems fed-up with his so-called loving girlfriend. So when a bunch of freak accidents keep happening to cast members of the school play, leaving Clark with the lead role, it appears that someone is taking this whole acting thing one step too far, and it's up to Clark, Pete, Lana, and Chloe to find out who it is, before someone ends up worse than hurt, and more like dead.Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld did a fantastic job with SEE NO EVIL. The characters are written in such a fantastic way, that you can actually hear them saying their lines as you're reading. WARNING: This is a VERY short book, so if you're a fan of SMALLVILLE, I'd consider keeping a few more installments of this series at hand, as you will be craving more of Clark Kent and the gang when you're finished.
