This novel explores Alex Rider's dark side. It is a fascinating read and the author seems more creative in his approach than in the previous novels. As always the action moves quickly and the suspense is high. The Alex Rider series is one of the best series for teenage boys being written right now.Book Review: My kids love these stories!

Do you like action and adventure? If you do you have to read Scorpia. It is one of the Alex Rider books and they are all amazing. Anthony Horowitz writes amazing books that are about a 14 year old kid who gets forced into joining a spy agency after his uncle's death. Alex never wanted to join the spy agency but every time MI6 are able to manipulate Alex into going on a mission.
Alex Rider works for the MI6 spy agency but as he is on a mission he has to encounter the group of people who supposedly killed his parents. Over there they tell him that his dad used to work with them and make him join their team. They also send him over to kill Mrs. Jones the head of MI6 operations. Alex's mind is filled with hatred for MI6 and currently the last thing he will do is refuse to killing anyone who is part of MI6. When Alex is face to face with Mrs. Jones he with a weapon and she helpless his mind fills with thought. To find out what happens to Mrs. Jones read this book.
I thought that this book was filled with adventure and it had a lot to say about how Alex felt about the situations and gives a lot of information about Alex's parents and how they died. This is actually the 5th book in the series but it might be a good one to start with since it gives you a lot of background information about Alex's past life. I really enjoy these books but if you do not like adventure and action then you might not enjoy this book to much. If you do then you will love these books just like me.
