Book Reviews of Schrodinger's Cat TrilogyBook Review: one of a dozen books that can actually reprogram your mind Summary: 5 Stars
a book that made me LAUGH outloud, every other page... a book that delighted and astonished me... a book that is so incredibly clever... that I am in constant awe at the slippery, quantum-jumping, amazingly connected mind that created it... I've only read it 4 times... but I keep making the mistake of loaning it to others ... passing on the mindbending material... only to find that they will not part with it... forcing me to buy another.. and mark IT all up with my highlighter!
Book Review: I bought it just for the cover... Summary: 5 Stars
...but it turned out I loved the words inside just as much. Robert Anton Wilson tells one hell of a shaggy-dog story in this book and in the Illuminatus! Trilogy (not to mention the rest of the Illuminati-centric stories). If you like conspiracy theories, drug humor, the occasional naughty bits, and convoluted alternate-realities, you'll adore this book to pieces. I had to buy a second copy because my first copy was lent out and never came back.
Book Review: Politics, science, fiction--uh, fiction? Summary: 5 Stars
Since I'm in my own reality-tunnel regarding whether or not I happen to be fictional, I'll allow there might be some who can't take this book seriously--good on them! If you want to undo your sense of "here and now"--and attempt to get "what could have been"--here's a book for you. A look at culture, semantics, politics, in other eigenstates--with some familiar faces! Check it out, and check everything else a little closer.
Book Review: This book is even better than the Illuminatus! Trilogy! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is so funny, and so outrageous despite the fact that it demonstrates a mastery of quantum causality, which Wilson must have. This book is, personally, my favorite. For it to be truly appreciated, though, the reader must first read the Illuminatus! trilogy, to which this Trilogy is a sequel. Anyone who actually thinks that he/she is smart will be surprised at how little he/she actually knows after reading this tome.
Book Review: If this book doesn't change the way you think, you're dead! Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the most profoundly stimulating books I have
ever encountered. It is also a damned funny and entertaining
story in its own right. Robert Anton Wilson is an absolute
genius... not just for his ability to synthesize new concepts,
but for his uncanny talent for explaining them in such a
lucid and entertaining manner. I've read many of his works,
and I believe that overall, this one is the best.
