This book was very helpful in giving me a basic knowledge of electricity, although it doesn't show the proof of the formulas it introduces, but as it entitles to give a basic knowledge of electricity to the reader it could have been very confusing if it was written otherwise.

Students need no prior knowledge of electricity to gain a broad and deep understanding with this book. Numerous easy-to-follow examplesillustrated with diagramsdemonstrate the operation and application of electric circuits. To assure practicality, the problems are presented in terms of commonly used voltages and current ratings, and they cover circuits and equipment typical of those found in today's electrical systems.
