This book is written by someone who knows his subject thoroughly, the information is presented well, and it really seemed to help me. I have only been using it a week or so, and granted my insomnia was getting better anyway, but this book really empowers you to get off of the meds, realize you don't have a psychiatric problem, and think about things a bit differently. Its really not that complicated. Anxiety about sleep keeps you from sleeping. Change the way you think about it, and it helps you sleep. The fact that he is a researcher that has implemented and tested this program for years is great too. Also all recent literature points toward CBT techniques being the safest, most long lasting, and effective ways to treat insomnia. Get this book!
