Book Reviews of Sarah: A NovelBook Review: Couldn't put it down Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Highly creative with the perfect mix of humor and sentiment. I am from WV and normally get very angry with books that make people from my home state seem like tards, but it is forgivable with a book of this caliber. I never knew how the situations would end up. Totally unpredictable!
Book Review: Brilliant!! Summary: 5 Stars
J.T. Leroy's use of language is music. Some lines I read and reread for the sheer joy of seeing and hearing the words. A talent to be treasured. I am so thrilled I discovered J.T. Leroy at the beginning of his career. I'm in awe.
Book Review: DIsturbed Summary: 5 Stars
How sick. How disturbing. I couldn't put it down. An odd combination of Faulkner (think "Sanctuary") and Tom Robbins (ala "Even Cow Girls Get the Blues"). Not for the faint of heart.
Book Review: What a BOOK!! Summary: 5 Stars
As horrifing as the story was, the book was written with such delicacy and raw human touch that I raced home every day to read it- It really is a MUST READ! you will not be let down.
Book Review: An impressive first novel from a very gifted writer Summary: 5 Stars
This story disturbed me in the most fascinating way. Very well written and highly recommended.
