Book Review: Good read, but a little bland...

This book was a welcome follow up to the first. Bane is a very interesting and unique character that truly deserves an entire field of books written to expand upon his Star Wars history and importance. This second book did take much of the focus of Bane, and seemed to blandly rumble through events in order to set up some climaxing confrontations for the next book. Anyone planning to read on Bane must rate the book for themself, but I believe this book could have been a whole lot better and should have had more character development and Darth Bane nasty butt kicking included.Book Review: It was good enough to give me nightmares

This is a very interesting story that takes place a thousand years before Luke Skywalker. That fact alone is what makes it cool. A very enlightening (pun intended) study on how those with the power of the force perceive and utilizes the dark side.
I still found myself rooting for the good guys instead of the heroes of the book, who are Sith. It's a little heartbreaking if you're rooting for the good guys, but it is well written and a relevent story in the Star Wars Saga.

I was not a fan of the first book from this author. But I picked this book up because I am a fan of the genre, and I was pleased that I bought this one, it seemed better written and far more interesting. The book ties into the future as well, and doesn't feel disjuctive from the rest of the star wars stories. For those that like the star wars books I would add this to your collection. And, I look forward to the third book.Book Review: OK the first was better, But still good.

Pretty much the title says it all. I mean I love Darth Bane and not in a gay way. He is the savior of a perverted sith army. But in the first book he seems much more powerful. This one its more like eh I am strong but only with the armor of orbalisks. But the last fight was very cool. Can't wait for the third one.Book Review: Good but not as good as the first book

This is my favorite Star Wars series. I'm reading the last book of the 3 right now and they are all great. This is probably the lesser of the 3 books, but still very good. It's hard to compete with book 1 which was impossible to put down.
