Book Review: One of my favorites!
Summary: 5 Stars
I really like this book. It explains adoption in very child-friendly terms, and addresses some of the common concerns and emotions that adopted children have. While acknowledging the differences between family members, it also stresses the ways that they are alike. I like that it also includes diversity in one part by picturing a single-parent family and a family where the parents are of different ethnic backgrounds. It also addresses the child's curiosity about their birth family. Overall, a very comprehensive, child-appropriate book with good messages about adoption and family!
