Book Reviews of Ronning Guide to Modern Stage HypnosisBook Review: Outstanding stage hypnosis reference source Summary: 5 Stars
I have known Geoffrey Ronning for several years and am always excited to hear of a new product or book release. Again... Mr. Ronning has exceeded my expectations for this publication.
This book has given a total outline of his stage hypnosis experience and career. Any one interested in pursuing comedy stage hypnosis as a career should consume this material as fast as possible. For those of us that already do comedy hypnosis as a profession, this book reviews many factors that have been forgotten or neglected.
The organization of the material creates a fluid description on building your show, so you can deliver a stellar performance. His reference to past mistakes and what does and does not work gives the reader a "leg up" on the competition. If you want to be successful in stage hypnosis, learn from the people that have done it. This book will enable you to leap light years ahead of other performers.

Book Review: An Instant Classic - Mandatory Reading For All Summary: 5 Stars
Geoff has done it again! With this publication, he has created an instant classic with this contribution to the world of Hypnosis. This is essential reading for all in the field of stage hypnosis - it is for everyone from the novice/beginner to the most seasoned of entertainers.
What strikes me most is Geoff's genuine interest in furthering the art of stage hypnosis. Being a performer for many years, one gets used to the lack of support, secrecy and constant competition between performers. Geoff blows this myth and lack of collegiality out of the water as he shares many fantastic secrets about stage hypnosis. This knowledge that can be utilized in not only stage hypnosis but in ALL areas of entertainment.
Geoff is an excellent author, a terrific entertainer and highly sought after mentor. You WILL learn a lot!
Another excellent product from the mind of Geoff Ronning. Thank You!
Book Review: A real education... Summary: 5 Stars
Sept. 2007 I decided it was time to make a dream come true...learn hypnotism. I literally spent 4 - 6 hours a night researching on the net, watching You Tube, checking out what the field had to offer.
If I had just found this book first it would certainly have saved me so much time...and time is money...that means the book would have been FREE. I had purchased well over $800. of books, cds, and dvds, when I found this book.
If you were only going to purchase one book to learn about stage hypnotism then this is it. This is written more like a text book, actual education. I read until I reached the last page, cancelling all plans for that day. The book was written so that a person could actually decide if that is the direction they want to go or not.
My only complaint is that it left me wanting to move to Ronning's town so that I could study full time with him.
Book Review: Your Complete Roadmap To Success Summary: 5 Stars
If you're looking for a single, complete and modern approach to learning stage hypnosis, you're looking at it. Sure you can get the material here from a lot of other sources, but Geoff Ronning has laid it out for you in the most direct and most practical manner ever.
Geoff includes exercises you can and/or need to do in order to succeed. He also provides you with additional web site links (especially made for this book's readers) to further your study and increase your knowledge base.
Another very notable part is where Geoff discusses things that can go wrong during a show and how to deal with these. Very few stage hypnosis resources out there even suggests that things can and will go wrong.
In all, this book is a COMPLETE course in stage hypnosis. If you have at least a minute interest in stage hypnosis, you should get this book.
Book Review: An Outstanding Guide for Stage Hypnotists Summary: 5 Stars
I first learned hypnosis over 30 years ago, and have been a Registered Hypnotherapist (Washington State) for 10 years. I have wanted to do a class Stage Hypnosis act for many years, but I could never find information on the "fine points" to make the transition from clinical work to the stage. I read a number of books, and viewed some recorded and live performances, but I felt there was something missing. This book fills in the gaps and answers many of the questions that I had about entertaining with hypnosis in a profitable way, and on a high level. This book is about the business as well as the entertainment aspect of the field of Stage Hypnosis, and covers both subjects very well. I feel confident that it has given me the "tools" to be successful. My thanks to Geoff and Wendy for this great and powerful guide.
