In the year 1999, a phenomenal event occured ... a mysterious alien ship crashes in the South Pacific, in the midst of civil war across the globe. This event halts all hostilities between the peoples of earth, as they work together to delve into the secrets of Robotechnology, a level of technology which dwarfs anything the people of earth have ever crafted. This also answers an age old question, and now ignites concern, that humankind indeed is not alone in the Universe.Follow the early adventures of the hotshot pilot Rick Hunter, the overnight superstar and sweetheart Lynn Minmei, and the crew of the SDF-1 as they seek to fight the mysterious aliens which have come to reclaim their lost ship.
