Book Review: A favorite in my collection

This has many recipes that have become our favorites. The Maple Glazed Meatballs are an impressive addition to a buffet. The Breakfast Bake is very good. I have started this one before our walk on the weekend. The book has all the 'standard' recipes, but if you are new to cooking and the crock pot, these are great to have. For the more adventurous, the Wild Rice and Mushroom Casserole, Caribbean Sweet Potato and Bean stew (which goes well with the Chipotle Meatballs ) and Parsnip and Carrot soup are excellent. I cook almost all of our meals and have for close to 40 years. This book is a big part of meal planning. In fact it is the 4th one I have had, as I have given the others away!
