Book Review: 2 year old loves it!

My 2 year old son loves this book. He wants to read it at least twice a day, and it always holds his attention until the end. He loves looking for all of the little details in the pictures- for instance, he goes through and shows me all of the pictures that have fire hydrants in them, or all of the characters who are eating apples, etc. Worth every penny and then some!Book Review: Great Classic!

This is a fabulous classic childrens book. Still the same captivating drawings as when I was a kid.
Shame on the "gender" battle people. There are some things men do better the women, and vice versa. That is why we are so different! Richard Scarry does a another great job of challenging and teaching children. I'm sure no book would ever satisfy the feminist view.

This book is a perfect example of the kind of publication that has made Richard Scary a favorite of families for generations. The illustrations are action-packed, and kids are immediately drawn in to all the activity of the town, learning about all the characters on the way to work!
From toddlers to pre-schoolers, this is a book to be absolutely cherished!

I grew up with these books, and I thought it was time for my 6 year old daughter to be introduced to them... and I was not disappointed. She loves them! You can never go wrong with a Richard Scarry's book no matter what age, they are colorful and exciting for kids of all ages and if you are reading to a toddler they keep their attention. You can always find something new and different each time you turn the pages. I recommend this book to all new readers.
