Book Review: Big Improvement Over 1st Volume

After reading the first volume, I was pretty disappointed with the story overall. But I feel that the drawing and writing were vastly improved in this second volume. I think they really captured the feel of the movie that we all know and love with this one. I'm actually really looking forward to the next one!Book Review: Getting better

This one is better than the first volume.However,I think most of the characters look too manga style(Mizumi's daughters,I find them totally innecesary),more than Brian Froud's.As for the fan art,some of them are beautiful,but the rest...they can have saved them.
I like Skeksicorps bit,(i Love Skeksis),but the illustrator had a mistake(I don't know if on purpose)..skeksis have lizardlike tails

This is really no work of art. The artwork is nothing special (at all), and the story seems to have been written by a 15-year old. It does not really develop the relationship between Jareth and the girl, the protagonists here are mostly new, and very bidimensional. I bought all three volumes because I really liked the movie. Big mistake.
