"Renegade" was an excellent inside view of a campaign that was riveting. Wolffe's insights and in-depth interviewing really added another dimension to those of us following the campaign. Richard Wolffe is emerging as one of the more objective, reasonable reporters. He doesn't attempt to stir up news--he reports it.Book Review: renegade

although the daily blogs are atwitter at what he has not yet accomplished in his short term, I am willing to trust his judgement and sense of timing as a result of this book. I enjoyed this book very much. The author is one of my favorite journalists on TV. The Obama campaign was such a revelation, I knew the book would be facinating. Haven't quite finished it yet but I give Richard Wolffe 5 stars for his insight and authenticity without hyperbole. As someone who considers herself somewhat of a renegade, I love to read about other audacious indidivduals.An excellent & easy read!

I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Wolffe's detailed analysis of President Obama's two year journey to becoming President. This is a magnificent story and I know this book will stay in my personal library for years to come.
