Book Reviews of Renegade: The Making of a PresidentBook Review: Richard Wolfe Summary: 5 Stars
What a fabulous book. This book tells me more about Barack Obama than any other book I have read. It's fascinating to learn about how the presidential campaign began and developed. I loved reading about the people involved, the strategies that were used and the reasons why. I got to know and understand a very complex man and how the game of politics is played. Richard Wolfe kept me fascinated from the beginning of this book until the end.
Book Review: Renegade Summary: 5 Stars
I've read two books by Obama, "Dreams of my Father" and "The Audacity of Hope" and felt that they gave great insight into the man and his philosopy of leadership. Renegade, which is very well written, further illustrates just who Obama is. I have found in all of my reading that Obama's views remain constant. Renegade is engaging and shows us the road that the candidate traveled to this historic moment in history.
Book Review: Well written page turner! Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book. As a huge Obama supporter from the moment he announced, the inside look at his campaign is fascinating. It had me reliving each moment (good and bad) of the long, historic campaign. I cried, I laughed, I learned so much about the real man behind the public face. It made me respect our President even more. He's a brilliant man! Beautifully written by Richard Wolffe.
Book Review: An American Reader Summary: 5 Stars
I received the book in excellent condition, have read it cover to almost cover and would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the making of a President, and the complete and total committment to the process. I am a big fan of Richard Wolffe, voted for President Obama and am along for the ride that will determine who Obama is and how history will view him. Good luck to us all. Thanks Amazon
Book Review: Who is Barack Obama? This book comes closest to the answer. Summary: 5 Stars
Richard Wolffe's Renegade is a wonderful insider account of the Obama campaign. But it's more than a Ted White like campaign memoir, it's the first really fully fleshed out biography of our President (aside from his own memoirs). Despite the round the clock coverage of Barack Obama's every move, this is absolute must reading for anyone who wants to know the man behind the public persona.
