Book Reviews of Remember Me?

Book Review: Engaging and charming!
Summary: 4 Stars

A young woman wakes up in a hospital bed with no memory of the previous 3 years. The last thing that is fairly clear was getting drunk with friends after a day of disastrous occurences. When she looks in the mirror she wonders how she "suddenly" has perfect teeth, hair, and body? She find discovers thatmarried to a picture perfect husband, living in the perfect loft, with a dream job and a life she could never have done anything but dreamed of. On top of all that, all her best friends are strangely remote.
This is a fun, frivolous tale that is both engaging and charming! Sophie Kinsella never disappoints!

Book Review: done before but still a good read
Summary: 4 Stars

I have enjoyed all of sophie kinsella's books so far and this one is no exception. The tried and true "amnesia" plot line occurs in this book with some differences. The last thing Lexi remembers is having bad teeth, a worse job and a despicable boyfriend, but when she wakes up she finds herself married, rich, and with a whole new look. Lexi thinks she has won the jackpot with her new life. But as time goes on she realizes not everything is how it appears and there are many secrets in her new existence. All in all good book with likable characters. I read this one in one sitting, really quick read.

Book Review: Cute Chick Lit
Summary: 4 Stars

Remember Me? is my favorite Sophia kinsella novel (so far). While I enjoy the frantic, "I can't believe I've gotten myself into this mess" of the other Kinsella novels, I enjoyed the realness of this novel.

A girl wakes up from after an accident, finding all of her aspirations have come true. She's the boss, she's married to an incredibly rich and handsome man, she has more shoes than God.... and yet, she (the 3 years earlier she) feels like there is something missing. This book is about the journey finding herself.

Book Review: Fun & fast read, but predictable
Summary: 4 Stars

I read all of Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series and the UNDOMESTIC GODDESS and I would have to say that this book runs along the lines of these other books. These are fast and fun reads. The plot is easy to follow and is rather predictable, but if you're looking for a fun and light reading book with a happy ending, I highly recommend this book (along with Ms. Kinsella's other books). I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Book Review: Pleasant surprise
Summary: 4 Stars

When I heard this was a book about amnesia, I thought 'Oh, no! Not again!'. But i was pleasantly surprised. Kinsella's narrative is engaging, I felt like I knew the characters, and found myself rooting for them. And she hasn't lost her touch where humor is concerned, either.
Perfect Christmas gift for anyone who loves a fun, light-hearted read!
