Book Reviews of Remember Me?

Book Review: Fun and frothy
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read every Sophie Kinsella book thus far, and though I have at times been dissapointed (the latter Shopoholic books) I still can't help but purchase her new books. I didn't hesitate to buy this one as one of my first "pre release" books ever purchased, and I read it in one sitting while I was waiting for movers to come pack me up. So many times while I was reading it I had wished there was another one that I could pick up right after I was done. No, the ending isn't a surprise by any stretch of the imagination, but the ending is SOOOO worth getting to. This is I think my favorite book of Sophie Kinsella's. I wish Sophie were a robot who could pop out a book every week! They are junk food for your brain! Love it!

Book Review: Sophie Kinsella fans will not be diasppointed!
Summary: 5 Stars

When 'Remember Me?' came out, I was initially sad that it wasn't the next in the Shopaholic series. Once I began to read 'Remember Me?' those feelings disappeared. This book is a very fun read! The plot is quite intriguing- Lexi wakes up in the hospital from a car crash and cannot remember the last 3 years of her life. During those 3 years, she has become a totally new person- definitely not the "old Lexi." How did she become this new person so completely different?
As always, Sophie Kinsella's writing is a joy to read. The writing is both stylish and engaging.
I, along with many other fans, wait anxiously for the next Shopaholic adventure...but for now, am happy with reading 'Remember Me?'.

Book Review: Lots of fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Kinsella's "Shopaholic" books, but her stand-alone novels have been less than stellar. "Remember Me?," however, is a wonderful exception. Kinsella takes what could easily have been a hackneyed plot line and works it into a story that fresh and rings true (even for those of us who have thankfully never had amnesia). It's fluff, sure, but it's not all sunshine; Lexi, the protagonist and narrator, faces a host of difficult issues with family, friends, and career. Kinsella's gift is in making you root for the heroine, regardless of her faults. My only criticism of "Remember Me?" is the treacly and much-too-neat final chapter. Otherwise, I loved this one and tore through it.

Book Review: Sophie Kensella is the Best at capturing humor in her Books
Summary: 5 Stars

I cannot say enough good, hearwarming things about this book, "Do You Remember Me." Not only is it a page turner, you will be rolling oon the floor laughing at Lexy, the main character. Just like her "Shopoholic Series," all of her books so vividly capture her characters, and continuously made me laugh and relate, in so many ways, I had to stop and realize she wasn't writing about me. She has several movie deals in the works about her books, and I hope, like me" you will be excited and full of anticipation for them to be in theatres as soon as possible. Thanks, Sophie, for another masterpiece! Like me, you will be pulling for these herions to pull through and have a happy ending!

Book Review: My favorite Sophie Kinsella novel!
Summary: 5 Stars

Anyone who has read a novel by Sophie Kinsella knows that she excels at creating main characters that are hilariously flawed and lovable, who manage to get themselves into numerous funny predicaments. "Remember Me?" is no exception, and is thoroughly enjoyable, with an intriguing plot. Though the ending is fairly predictable, the question of how exactly did the main character, Lexi Smart, become the person she was will keep you reading until the end. I didn't find this book to be as funny as some of Kinsella's others, however, the sheer charmingness of the main and supporting characters of this novel make it my favorite of her works.
