Book Review: Too Many Judges Out There.....

I was attuned as a Reiki Master by someone other than Steve Murray. This teacher left me with a lot of questions. One thing that was not addressed at all was Reiki for animals. Since I work with dogs a lot (I'm a certified dog trainer, certified animal massage therapist, vet tech & have currently been studying animal acupressure) especially as a volunteer at local shelters & humane societies, I was browsing for more books on the subject, even though I was already using Reiki on these animals, purely by intuition. I came across a book by Steve Murray on Reiki for Animals. After I read that book, I found that he also had many more materials avaliable. I just received this book today & have already finished reading thru it once. I have to say that even though I've already been attuned as a Reiki Master myself, his books & DVD's are priceless! I've read other reviews by folks who criticize what he is doing with these materials. All I can say is, that all the information & the attunement DVD's do work. I think there are too many folks in our society that want everything NOW! They are so busy multi-tasking all the time, that they don't take the time to really let their minds be quiet & tune-in. Many times, people seem to think that after an attunement, they should somehow be magically changed in an instant, even though Steve clearly states that it is different for everyone & sometimes the changes are subtle & increase over time. He makes all this information & learning experiences priced so that more people have the opportunity to learn & use these things. The "traditional" way that many folks were attuned in the past, were very expensive, making Reiki avaliable to select few people. These seem to be the folks that have the biggest problems with Steve's methods. Reiki is supposed to be about "loving" & practicing to increase one's ability. I've read some pretty negative reviews by folks who claim to have many college degrees & certifications & are supposedly Reiki Master's themselves. They should know better than to be negative. That is against Reiki's 5 main precepts for living. ("Just for today...") So I have to wonder why they are so upset by these materials being affordable to everyone!?
I've learned so much more & become so much better with my own practice of Reiki since I've had the opportunity to get some of these materials. Steve does a wonderful job teaching & explaining all things in his books & DVD's. They are priceless to those of us not fortunate enough to be able to afford all the "College degrees & certificates"!
I will be buying all the materials that Steve has out & they will become a treasure to me & help along my spiritual path!
I recommend all his materials to anyone who truly wants to become attuned & to truly advance on their own spiritual paths! Love & Light to the world!!
