Book Review: useful guide for parents of reflux babies

Well written and very easy to follow. Just as the name suggests, this book is like a basic educational course on infant acid reflux.
Jan Gambino, who is a reflux-mom and educator herself has taken the readers step by step through home treatments/therapies for reflux babies to basic science behind reflux and how to prepare yourself before going to a pediatrician and/or a specialist. Even if you don't have a whole lot of background in reflux-science, you will feel better equipped to deal with your child's reflux when you reead this book.
If you are looking for medical details such as dosage of reflux medicines, the book does not contain such specific solutions for acid reflux but it certainly tells you how and where to look for solutions especially when your child has severe reflux and/or feeding complications rising from it.
The best thing about the book is that it describes the emotional aspects of parenting a reflux baby very well. All of us who are parenting a reflux child or who have done it, will identify with at least one of the small story-columns in the book. You will feel much better when you know that you are not alone in all this.
