Book Reviews of Recipes for the Endometriosis DietBook Review: Very Excited about my purchase Summary: 5 Stars
I just received my book today, and got a chance to look through it and I am very excited to try it out. This author obviously worked very hard to do her research and worked hard to help the rest of us out when it comes to understanding the good and bad foods. Her explanations are clear, her recipes look delicious. I will be starting this ASAP.
Book Review: Wonderful. Summary: 5 Stars
So much detail and information. Plenty of testimonials from women who have been in the trenches. A Must have for women suffering with endometriosis
Book Review: Great Support for Endometriosis Summary: 5 Stars
The book puts all the information into one place about how to treat my endometriosis. The recipes are exciting to try.
Book Review: Chock full of nutritious recipes Summary: 4 Stars
This recipe book has enough recipes to keep you cooking for a year, as well as explanations about why you must avoid certain foods in order to heal from endometriosis. The author writes compassionately to those suffering from endometriosis, encouraging readers/patients to take control of the disease through everyday behaviors, namely supporting yourself through nutrition. If readers follow the instructions for healthy eating, they'll no doubt see improvements in overall health, not just a lessening of the endometriosis symptoms.
However, be aware that this is book really falls under the self-published category, so you may find the few misspellings or the layout distracting. It's not your typical glossy cookbook with pictures or tabs categorizing types of recipes. But the point isn't to be pretty; it's to be informative.
Book Review: excellent suggestions, but where are the references?? Summary: 4 Stars
This book is full of very sound nutritional advice, and after doing my own research I have proven to myself that the information correct. It was difficult to take this book seriously however since there were absolutely NO references. Since she is not a nutritionalist or a scientist, where did she getting the information from? It would have saved me a lot of time if she had cited her sources to back up her claims.
