I am a type one diabetic, I have been for nearly 20 years. The parents of this boy should have been aressted if this story is true. Anyone read about the 11 year old girl in florida who DIED because her parents refused to "give in" and give her medicine?
Either this boy was misdiagnosed or this story is bull. Go ahead, try to pin them down on it. I did. I e-mailed them and asked in a nonconfrontational way how this happend, how in the world their son is off insulin. The response...nothing.
If you are a diabetic, type 1, you will die with out insulin, as sure as the sun will rise. There is nothing wrong with insulin! It is a natural hormone made in our bodies, unless we have type 1 diabetes, in which case we must suppliment it. It angers me that this assertion of insulin being bad is even made, and even more, the assertion that it is optional.
If they had documentation, and actual doctor confirming their son's diagnosis, they would be rich, they would have found the cure we all are looking for, but they didn't, so please please don't buy it.

There is no knowledge more important than the knowledge of listening to our body for the sake of our own health. We have an illusion that someone from the outside can heal us. If anybody can heal us, it is only ourselves. It will take centuries for science to learn the hopelessness of the attempt to push the everchanging human body into frames of scientific theories.
