I was told by many paramedics to read this book BEFORE taking an EKG class. I'm glad I listened. It completely breaks down the concepts into a simple, easy to understand format. It can be a bit dry and you need to take a lot of breaks to get through the book, but it makes it so simple to understand. I would highly recommend this book.Book Review: Flows very well

This book combines humor with a step-by-step approach to understanding EKGs. It is excellent! I read it all the way through before a required class in arrythmias and EKG reading, and made an A. Just remember to allow yourself some time to read the book and truly digest it.
