Book Review: Does for the physically handicapped

what Blind Fury, starring the incomparable Rutger Hauer, did for the visually handicapped.
I grew up watching Zatoichi and I always used to wonder why they could make a show like that about a blind swordsman, but nobody ever made a show or a book about a martial artist who couldn't really get around so good without a cane.
Sure, there are a few episodes of House where he gives somebody a good wallop with his cane, but that usually only happens once or twice a season, so you wind up watching like 40 hours of MRIs and liver biopsies just to get to a little action. I mean, come on.
Kudos to Mr. Ramos for finally writing a book on this wonderful topic. His prose is utterly gripping and the illustrations are masterful.
