Book Reviews of RAWvolution: Gourmet Living CuisineBook Review: Rawvolution Rawks! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great raw food recipe book for anyone that is either transitioning to a raw food diet, or has made it their lifestyle for years! Easy to follow directions with tasty pictures of almost every recipe (a lot of the recipes only call for throwing everything in a blender, and presto!), and a helpful glossary of foods that may be unfamiliar to some. Make sure to have a food dehydrator--you won't want to miss out on the unbelievable food he has that requires one.
Book Review: My Favorite Raw Recipe Book Summary: 5 Stars
This is my favorite book I have for daily recipes. I recommend it to everyone. After I visited his restaurant in Santa Monica, I had to get the recipe for onion bread. It's been a big hit. Hummus recipe is good (using zucchini). I've used several of his salad dressings and many of his chopped salads. In general, they are fairly simple recipes, although many use coconut meat so if you haven't mastered the coconut process, they could seem complicated.
Book Review: This Book is Wonderfully Practical and Easy to Follow! Summary: 5 Stars
RawVolution is a great book. The recipes in this book are great! You can find all of the ingredients at any grocery store and you don't need a million different appliances to prepare any of the recipes. His story on how he switched to an all rawfood diet is both funny and charming. The result of his rawfood lifestyle speak for themselves! Check out the great pictures of Matt, he looks incredibly healthy. I highly recommend this book!
Book Review: Must have for Raw Food believers Summary: 5 Stars
My husband and I are new to the raw food world. This is one of three books that have become a mainstay for us. Easy to understand and easy recipes to prepare and if that is not enough...they are delicious. One of our friends visited Rawvolution restaurant and said it was wonderful in every area. If you are new to raw food or have been on the journey, this is a great book for your library and one that you will reference often.
Book Review: Can I give this 6 stars? Summary: 5 Stars
This book was easy to follow and for someone like me who can't cook or 'un-cook' to save their lives, I could actually EAT what I had created. (which speaks VOLUMES) I have had many disasters with seemingly 'quick prep' books like Bryan Au's which turned out to be a NIGHTMARE- the mac and cheese was a science experiment to say the least...This book ranks high up there with my other fave, Living on Live Foods by Alisa Cohen
