Book Reviews of QuickBooks 2008: The Missing ManualBook Review: Bonnie Biafore makes it simpler Summary: 4 Stars
If you're like me, you are considering this book because you don't like sitting through training or the "Help" process. You won't be disappointed. It doesn't answer every question but hey it is Quickbooks we're dealing with. QB is designed to market their add on products and services. I ordered this book as soon as I saw, "Bonnie Biafore." I use her MS Project book with my students and recommend it to others.
Book Review: Missing Manual Summary: 4 Stars
This book is great. It's far better than the online QuickBooks "help" that comes with the software. I have been using QuickBooks for personal finances and recently converted the accounting system at work to QuickBooks. The Missing Manual has been a great resource in solving uncommon problems.
Book Review: QuickBooks 2008: The Missing Manual Summary: 4 Stars
This book has been a life saver. It fills in the blanks and gives details in everyday terms. We purchased this book and the Official Guide Book from QuickBooks. We have grabbed this book 3 times as much as the other one when we have questions or can't find the answers. WE LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
Book Review: Quickbooks Summary: 4 Stars
I have found this book to be very helpful. It will be on my desk for quite some time and an easy reference after that.
Book Review: Great for Beginners Summary: 3 Stars
A great book for someone just starting a business. I came to a business after they had about 6 months of Quickbook. I needed to learn Quickbooks after it had been used for a while. The main thing I learned was, USE A CPA to start the setup. If your business is bigger than 2 or 3 employees Quickbooks can become quicksand with no knowledgeable oversight. Book goes over the basics of starting up very thoroughly and can be a great help in setting up the books!
