Book Review: So not worth it...
Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this book when i couldn't find The Marriage Game after reading a teaser email of the 1st chapter. I was thoroughly disappointed in Nightstar. Caren falls in love with Marc base purely on his looks apparently. While Marc seems like someone with borderline personality disorder and a short memory. One minute he's chewing her out and the next minute he's at her door asking for breakfast then kissing her?!?! Puleeze. Even the explanation at the end was patronizing and weak. Beyond Tomorrow redeemed the book for me so i don't feel so bad about wasting my money. The story was trite but at least you saw the relationship develop and could understand why each character acted the way they did. I hope this means that her writing gets better with the later editions. I'm still going to try The Marriage Game but if its not better, i'm going to avoid this author from now on.
