Book Reviews of Pride and Prejudice (Penguin Classics)Book Review: Great depiction of how our assumptions get in our way Summary: 5 Stars
This is a FANTASTIC book. The story, while it has wording that is difficult to follow at first, depicts how our assumptions cause all kinds of mayhem and actually my deter us from our destiny.
I HIGHLY recommend this book. I read at night before bed... and there were some nights I stayed up until 4 reading.
Book Review: a classic romance Summary: 5 Stars
I do not often find myself reading female authors, but when I do, it is always in the classics. Jane Austen is deserved known as one of the best. "Pride and Prejudice" is witty and memorable. I need not say more. I cannot see how this brilliant work could do anything but polarise opinion, there is no middle ground.
Book Review: Pride and Prejudice (Penguin Classic) Summary: 5 Stars
The story is famous and in no need of review. The Penguin classic has decent size print and makes the effort to come as close to the original manuscript as is reasonably possible. What more is there to want? Also the price is excellent, so that it will not be difficult to replace after I have worn it out.
Book Review: I loved it Summary: 5 Stars
As a high school student I was not sure I would like this book at all. This book was an easy read because of how well it was written and how much the story grabs on to you. Ever since reading this book I have gone on to read all of Jane Austen's book and found that they were equally as good.
Book Review: I can read this over and over and over and over Summary: 5 Stars
There aren't too many books that I absolutely never get tired of reading, but this is definitely one of them. Fabulous characters and the perfect romance. Even though it's become a bit cliche with all of the take-offs on the market right now, I will always love this book.
