I received this devotional as a gift and have been very blessed by it. Beth Moore begins each day with a thought-provoking quote. Scripture then follows in a few short devotional-style paragraphs. It is well-written and a wonderful addition to daily Bible reading and time spent with the Lord. It's small enough to carry in a purse or briefcase and makes an excellent gift for women of all ages. The book is well written, easy to read, and full of practical ways to overcome strongholds in our lives. Best of all, each day is based on a different Scripture from God's word. It doesn't take long to read each day's devotional but what you read sticks with you throughout the day. I ordered 3 of these devotionals for my adult daughters. I have followed Beth Moore's ministry for quit a few years and I am very impressed by her integrity and commitment to God's word. I believe these books will be an encouragement in the busy lives of my daughters and inspire them to dig deeper into the study of God's word and prayer.
