Book Review: Great Book on Strength Training
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book about a year after buying Starting Strength (2nd edition). This book is a great no nonsense resource on training to gain strength. It is written very well, and you do not have to have a degree in Exercise Physiology to understand it. I like that he keeps the beginning and intermediate programs simple with only a few multi-joint exercises. This is the best way to work out in my opinion, especially for beginners (which a lot of people will fall under, even if training for years- check out the book for explanation). As an Exercise Science Master's Degree student, I have read many books dealing with exercise, and this is by far way ahead of what is available on the market today. It has something for all levels. I recommend any serious S&C Coaches, Athletic Trainers, Personal Trainers, hardcore trainer, weekend warrior or anything in between read this book. You will not be sorry I promise.
